Congratulations on making the decision to study abroad! Students at the University of Maryland have a number of options when considering the best way to incorporate an overseas experience into the undergraduate curriculum.
The different types of study abroad programs are organized in the following categories:

^ Starting in January 2009, students who enroll in non-Maryland (College Park) programs for study abroad will be charged a $400 study abroad fee for a semester or yearlong program, or a $250 fee for a short term program. This charge will appear directly on student accounts.
# Students who enroll in University of Maryland exchange programs for study abroad will be charged a $250 fee per program. This charge will appear directly on student accounts.
